Multi-necked or udder vases.

Multi-necked vases can be found in various forms but in their most popular form and suitable for smaller floral displays have three spouts around a larger central one and are invariably known as udder vases by the discerning collectors who favour them. They must have been popular in their day as most of the Torquay potteries made them and from what is shown here in the groups with the gallery below. There were many varieties of design or patterns applied to them, the spouts however are prone to get damaged when filling them with water which may have resulted in many not surviving the test of time.
